In a few words
Founded in 1926, CHI Geneva is one of the most prestigious horse shows in the world. Combining tradition, excellence and top-level sport, it brings together the world’s best riders and drivers on the largest indoor arena in the world (5,400 m²!)
Voted the world’s best show for the tenth time in 2019, CHI Geneva is one of the four Majors of the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping, alongside the Dutch Masters in ‘s-Hertogenbosch (NED), CHIO Aachen (GER) and the Spruce Meadows ‘Masters’ in Calgary (CAN).
The Geneva International Horse Show has hosted two World Cup finals (1996 and 2010) and fifteen Rolex IJRC Top 10 finals. The Indoor Cross is also one of the event’s flagship competitions, as is the Driving World Cup leg. CHI Geneva is also committed to promoting the young generation of show jumpers by organising a CSI for riders under 25.
Every year, 700 highly motivated and enthusiastic volunteers bring the event to life, attracting 43,000 spectators over four days.

Devillard, a loyal partner of CHI Geneva since 1997
"It's a long story!"
Claude Devillard talks about this commitment, which combines emotion and hospitality.
“It’s a major event for Geneva, with a magical touch at the end of the year just before the holidays,” says Claude Devillard, head of the company of the same name. Since 1997, Devillard has been at the event’s side every year, making it one of CHIG’s longest-standing partners. “Twenty-one years is a long story! Just as with our clients, we work for the long term and on loyalty. This continuity allows us to bring the event to life for our clients every year.” Over two decades, the partnership has evolved steadily. “Between hospitality and visibility, it grows stronger every year. We are lucky to be able to invite our clients to discover the show, and that’s what I love about this partnership. I’m not a rider myself, nor passionate about the discipline; what thrills me is the pleasure of the clients I invite. These are great emotional moments that I share with them!”
